The next Kyu grading course and test
Sunday 6 April 2014 Little Lever Leisure Centre
9.30 for a 10am start (dont be late!) ALL Kyu and Dan grades are expected to train regardless of whether you are grading.
Sensei will let you know nearer the time if you are eligible to grade. If you dont think you have enough training sessions (min 2 per week) then you can easily top it up from a choice of 4 available sessions per week before the grading.
It is with great pleasure that we can announce that former member and long time friend of Bolton Shotokan Karate Club, Rachel Hainey 2nd Dan, is the proud mum to a new addition to the family. Eden arrived at 08.12am on 26 March 2014 weighing 6lb14oz and both mum and daughter are very well. Congratulations Rachel, from all your friends at Bolton Shotokan Karate Club.
Happy arrival
Welcome back Georgia!
We are so happy to welcome back to training, Georgia Calvert.
In December 2013, Georgia was a few days from taking her 2nd Dan when she badly dislocated her knee. As a result she could not grade nor train but after just 3 months, she is back. Welcome back Georgia and here's to you attaining your 2nd Dan!
